The Safe for Work Challenge Part 2

Here's part 2 of the Sugarpill Burning Heart and Sweet Heart Pallette SFW challenge, this time using Love + and Poison Plum. These are my two favourite colours in the pallettes.

For who knows how long, I've collected purple eyeshadows trying to find my 'perfect purple'. Until now, my search had been in vain as any shadow that looked really pretty in the pan or really vibrant never turned out that way on my lid. Poison Plum is not one of those shadows. Even though it probably needs a teensy bit more building than the other colours in the pallettes to get it looking as it does in the pan, it is definitely 100% better than any other purple I've ever tried.

Love + is a stunning bright, bright red that just gives unbelievable colour payoff.

OK, enough gushing about the absolute amazingness of Sugarpill (even though it definitely deserves it), this is the SFW challenge!

Love + used all over the mobile lid, with Napoleon Perdis loose dust in White Gold over it to tone down the brightness for a more work friendly shade, with Goldilux down the centre of the lid to add a bit of dimension.

Poison Plum in the outer corner, with MAC -Trax eyeshadow blended in with it and Napoleon Perdis Colour Disc in Pink Beige (old name, since they changed the range I'm not sure what it's called now) over the lid.

Both of these looks use Benefit BadGal Waterproof eyeliner and CoverGirl Lash Blast Fusion mascara.

  1. Beautiful! <3 I'm originally blondie, but now I'm red head... so this look will go great with my new hair color! It's shiny, discrete and great to use at day AND night!

  2. I love the first one, I wouldn't guess that you'd used Love+!

  4. Thanks for the lovely comments! I was blonde and am now red as well, and I find these colours work really well with my hair now. I'll have more SFW soon, probably with Midori and Afterparty.
